DG / Hazardous Waste Producers must make sure hazardous waste produced or handled causes no harm or damage.
The responsibilities must also meet extra requirements depending on:
producer or holder (you produce or store waste)
hub store before processing
carrier (you collect and transport waste)
consignee (waste processor, such as for recycling or disposal)
There are different requirements for exporting waste.

Waste is generally considered hazardous if it (or the material or substances it contains) are harmful to humans or the environment. Examples of hazardous waste include:
Chemicals, such as brake fluid or print toner
equipment containing ozone depleting substances, like fridges
